POSITION TITLE: Lead Software Engineer

POSITION DUTIES: Oversee Software Engineering activities within Software Development division involved in design, implementation and support of proprietary AWG multi-tier business applications including AWG Simulcast Auto Auction Software, AWG Virtual Intelligent Auction Facility (VIAF) and AWG Dealer Inventory Analysis System. Analyze requirements specifications from auto auctions and produce detailed design specifications using modeling language such as UML and application design tools such as Microsoft Visio. Design and implement relational databases, stored procedures and functions using Microsoft SQL server technologies. Design advanced data structures using C# and C++ languages. Work with external auto auction software vendors to achieve system integration and vehicle inventory integration. Create integration specifications, design and implement integration systems using SOAP and XML Web Services technology. Work with Programmers, User Interface Designers, and Software Test Engineers (QA) to meet AWG systems and components user requirements and quality requirements. Design and implement secure client-server systems that exchange encrypted real-time auction data between AWG applications and servers across the Internet.

REQUIREMENTS: BS in Software Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science/ Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent plus at least 5 years of meaningful and progressive software engineering and/or IT and/or Programmer Analyst experience including .NET development, c#, xml, soap web services, data structures, database design, application analysis and design, security design architecture, high volume eCommerce website scaling, Java, MS SQL Server, Javascript and CSS. Of the five years, three years of experience must be in search engine optimization. At least 6 months experience must involve software engineering experience within the automobile industry, HTML5, mobile application development, software integration with social networks and building cloud computing applications. Also requires Microsoft Certified Professional certification with completion of Visual Basic or C# programming exam/Microsoft Certified Application Developer and IBM Certified Specialist-Rational Object Oriented Analysis and Design v2003 or IBM Certified Java Programmer certification to maintain our Microsoft Certified Application Developer Status.

Salary $ 122,000 per year, 40 hour work week. Job site and interview, in Paramus, New Jersey or Columbus, Ohio.
